ECOOP III continues to score over ECOOP II, with 533 players showing up for the 6-player table format $200 + $15 Limit Holdem event, thus crossing the guaranteed amount of $100,000 in prize money.
The number of players is more than the 508 players who took part in the same event at ECOOP II in May 2008. The number of players who would be paid is at 80. The total prize money on offer is $106,600.

The winner will collect a cool $24,518 with $14,391 going to the runners up. The least prize amount would be $226.50 for all the players who make it to the money.
After nearly 3 hours of play, there are only 78 players remaining and the leader is a player with nickname WaaBAM at a little more than 58000 chips.
The chip leader seems to be an aggressive player and likes to gamble. He just said this to someone on the tables.

We will have to wait and see if he can keep his lead safe till end and will his gamble pay of or not.
The blinds are at 300/600 currently and It is still quite early into this event to predict a winner. WaaBAM seems to be going good with Primorac123 in the second place currently with little above 43000 chips.
