Sweden Sweeps Victory at Poker Nations Cup
May 17, 2007 - Tony LeungCaptained by Bo Sehlstedt, Team Sweden played their way to the victory circle in the Party Poker “Poker Nations Cup”, picking up $100,000 as the winning team. While the odds seemed against the team, they had plenty of talent to draw upon. Both Anders Henriksson and Mats Rahm were bracelet holders from the 2006 World Series of Poker.
Anders Henriksson pulled in the win for his team when faced heads up versus American pro Robert Williamson III. He started with 12k in chips versus Williamson’s 88K yet still pulled in the win.
