Still Time for the Tournament Titan
September 09, 2007 - Chris Welsh

Online poker room Titan Pokerhas one of the most interesting concepts for a sit and go game going, a SNG with a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million. The idea is to hold the tournament start date until 20 players had qualified, but after being stuck at 18 players for a good long while, Titan Poker has changed things up a bit. The good news is that the date for the Tournament Titan final has been set—and the even better news is that there are still two seats open for you to win.
Titan has decided a points race will be the way to determine who gets the two remaining seats in the 20 player SNG. Two qualifying periods have been set up for the races, which are open for VIP players only (that's the benefit of being a VIP).
The two qualifying periods will run between the months of September and the end of the year, with the player earning the most points during those months earning a seat in the Tournament Titan.
Players from all around the globe have qualified to play in this event. It bears repeating that this is a $1 million dollar sit and go no limit hold'em tournament with only 20 players—everyone who plays is going to be paid handsomely.
So what if you are not a VIP player? You have a few options- first, you can become a VIP player during the qualification period, put the pedal to the metal, and earn points like crazy to try and win. Second—you'll have to keep an eye out for the next Tourney Titan, as Titan Poker is certain to offer it again. It has been a huge draw to their site, and something that has been eagerly anticipated.
The final Tournament Titan event will be held on December 8th.
