All of this and a hot virtual hostess named Tara, who is there just waiting to take care of you!

Card Game Choices

PurpleLounge.com has popped out of the chute with a fantastic selection of games, such as Holdem (Fixed Limit, Pot Limit and No Limit), Omaha (Fixed Limit, Pot Limit and No Limit), Omaha H/L (Fixed Limit and Pot Limit), 7 Card Stud (Fixed Limit, Pot Limit and No Limit) and 5 Card Stud (Fixed Limit, Pot Limit and No Limit). And if that doesn't completely satisfy your gaming appetite, how about checking out their 'SideBar' where you can play fun games for cash such as Political Sack Race, Dolphin Derby or Duck Shoot (and check out Tara's Travel diary or music picks!).

Gameplay

For a new online poker room, Purple Lounge sure impresses with the table stakes range! From $.05/.10 on up to $200/400, I'm pretty sure every single type of player is covered. The lobby makes it very simple to choose the right table, by categorizing them by Fixed Limit, Pot Limit or No Limit or how about Turbo or Head-to-Head poker tables, and just to be sure EVERYONE is covered, they even offer Private, Beginner and TV Tables (where the game may be broadcast on a TV show!). The software is free to download, but I do think that their poker tutorial is not that great.

Soft Competition

As with all new poker rooms (and especially with one that has such cool bell's and whistles', you'll find a large number of new players, all running around with their soft underbellies exposed. Great for the newbie to feel right at home, great for the advanced player looking to make some cash. Being part of the Prima Poker Network also insures a steady influx of players at Purple Lounge.

Interface

Even if purple isn't your favorite color, I think you'll still be very impressed with the software at Purple Lounge Poker. It's got all the functionality you need (player notes, hand stats, player and table online numbers, and easy to use player controls) with all the fun extras that you want (buddy list, table chatting, 'SideBar' extra games and features, etc.). The graphics are very nice (Tara is an excellent hostess!) and the sounds are real and unobtrusive. Overall a great experience!
