The World Poker Tour is known for its special themed, often-invitation only events, and recently one was held to offer poker authors a chance to prove their worth. Poker by the Book, Chapter II, had Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, Tom McEvoy, Johnny Chan, Dan Harrington and of course, Barry Greenstein.
Three players (Negreanu, Greenstein, Esfandiari) were WPT winners, and the other three were WSOP champs, but in the end the game was gone to Greenstein, dubbed the Robin Hood of Poker thanks to his huge charitable efforts in tourney poker. While the last card of the day was an ace on the river (the name of Greenstien’s book), he had already won the hand, and the event, giving him a $25,500 seat into the next WPT championship. This is Greenstein's fourth WPT title.
